St. Paul's Episcopal Petersburg is a vibrant community hub where we come together to nourish both body and spirit. Our regular weekly meals, held on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights from September to May, foster connection among members and the broader community. We aim to create a space where everyone feels at home, regardless of their background or beliefs.
In addition to our weekly gatherings, we host special community events throughout the year, such as Trunk or Treat, Spring Fling, and our delightful Parish Picnic. These events provide opportunities for fellowship, fun, and outreach, allowing us to engage with our neighbors and share our mission of love and support.
We also offer short form Bible Study programs to deepen our understanding of faith and scripture. These sessions are designed to be accessible and engaging, inviting participants to explore their beliefs and grow in their spiritual journey together.
We even have monthly lunches out and about town with our OWLs (we don't call them seniors, and not all of them are, but these are our Older, Wiser, and therefor more Loving members of the parish).
We are always looking for new ways to make church Community instead of simply religious obligation and we would love for you to come.
