10:30 Guest Preacher, Fr Wes Teixeira Bio
Chaplain Wesley Teixeira has served as an ordained Lutheran priest since 2011. Originally from a Boston (Jewish Portuguese Italian)-based family, his Family moved to Brazil, where he earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the Methodist University at the age of 23. He is fluent in Portuguese and Italian and has a working Spanish, French, and Latin knowledge.
He holds a Master of Divinity from Boston University, a second-level Master’s degree in History from the same institution, and a Doctorate in Religious Counseling and Education from Andover Newton Theological School (Yale Divinity School). He is pursuing a PhD in Phenomenology and Exorcism at the Institute of Lutheran Theology in South Dakota.
Chaplain Teixeira has served 12 years in the United States Army, with assignments in Georgia (two tours), Qatar, Germany (two tours), a deployment to Afghanistan, and is currently in Virginia. His…
