On Wed, August 6, we will celebrate the Feast of the Transfiguration with two unique services that honor the mystery and meaning of Christ’s radiant glory.
12:00 PM – Traditional Language Eucharist & Healing Litany; this midday service will include a Litany of Healing and reflections on the human body as sacred. On this feast when we glimpse Christ’s glorified flesh, we also celebrate the bodies we inhabit now—fragile, beloved, and destined for transformation.
7:00 PM – Contemporary Eucharist with Prayers for the World; in the evening, we gather for a contemporary service with special intercessions for all people and creation. The Transfiguration is not just about personal glory—it is a glimpse of God’s hope for the whole world, and a call to live as people being changed, together.
Come to either—or both—as we lift up this holy day with prayer, beauty, and the promise of transformation.
