Sun, Nov 23rd, Christ the King

The last Sunday of the Church year is almost here! On November 23rd we’ll celebrate Christ the King Sunday, the great finale of the liturgical calendar. This feast proclaims nothing less than Christ’s victory over all powers of sin and death—so yes, it deserves a little fanfare and pizzazz. We’ll be full tilt preparing for Advent and Christmas, but first we pause for this celebration of Christ’s reign. And be warned: Fr. Sam is extremely likely to set off confetti cannons during one or both services. Come ready for joy, music (live or recorded), and the bold proclamation that Christ is victorious; that Christ is King!
